Lea Architecture
Launching a Marketing Ecosystem
About Lea Architecture
Lea Architecture is a New York-based firm whose work spans multiple typologies, led by award-winning architect Jane Lea.
I’ve built and led a comprehensive brand and content marketing program for Lea Architecture, beginning with a foundational audit and strategy phase and evolving into multifaceted, ongoing communications.
Over a three-year engagement to date, we’ve worked to embrace the breadth of the firm’s work without isolating the other/ target typologies, and to inaugurate a substantial base of awards and press profiles to position them for the next phase of growth.
At large, this project spans positioning, digital editorial content, awards and earned media, to surface the firm’s full range and elevate the principal’s share of voice.
Positioning & Foundational Copywriting
I’ve refreshed – and created guidelines for – project profile texts rooted in copywriting as a business development signal, creating marketing and press-ready asset archives.
Coordinated Digital Content Program
We’ve transformed social platforms into an auxiliary portfolio and established a multi-channel content program to expand the firm’s storytelling and audience. This has included ongoing content generation templates and strategies that expand the firm’s project storytelling, process insights, and principal perspective across channels. Our ongoing content pipeline embraces project launches, firm news, and evergreen ideas, leading to sustained measurable audience growth.
Inaugural Media & Awards Plan – With Big Wins
I launched the firm’s formal communications strategy for two hero projects, from creating press materials to pitching and managing media relations across architecture and design outlets.
Since then we’ve built a systematic approach to awards and PR, achieving 20+ placements in top-tier press including Architect’s Newspaper, Dwell, and FRAME Magazine; and 8 award recognitions for the firm and/or individual projects over a two-year period.
The awards wins directly resulted in an invitation for the firm to exhibit at an event for the 20th Venice Architecture Biennale.
